Purpose: The goal was to ease the pain of ordering tests as they relate to life, home, or other types of insurance. We did not have a mobile app previously. The app would be released on iOS and Android at the same time.
Steps to Completion
Researched mobile apps that could run on no or little wifi.
Create a hierarchy for the information to be prioritized on the mobile interface.
Meet with Agents from several companies to see what they were going to need while in the field.
Challenges Uncovered
To accurately enter information about an applicant there was a lot of information that needed to be presented
Since an applicant could require multiple services there needed to be a mechanism to determine what service was holding up the order.
Development time was limited so we had to scale back the implementation in order to fall into budget.
